Chocolate – New Cadbury Creme Brulee
Well I was walking into the supermarket and bam, there it was a new bar of chocolate from Cadbury “Creme Brulee”
Well at first it just looks like your run of the mill chocolate bar with the normal smooth delicious chocolate that they are known for then you need to bite in to see what is different in the centre.
Wow its sugary and sweet, there’s a flavour of caramel and crunchy bits of caramelised sugar.
This is a really interesting new chocolate, it’s not your classic Brulee but it is a nice after dinner snack with a tea or coffee.
Well the jury has judged and I must admit I had trouble keeping the teenage daughter and wife out of the samples, but I did manage 2 rows and I tell you if you can get this at your local I suggest give it a try it’s for those who love a little variety in the your chocolate.
I would have to say that you need to forgive the caramel finish as true devotees of Creme Brulee hunger for that creamy finish you find in a well rounded set dessert.
Sorry mate, but after having creme brulee in France I think I will have to go beourgois and give this a (somewhat snobby I admit) miss!
Even the supermarket creme brulee was good – in a glass pot, the only ingreedient were
Cream (33%)
Milk (33%)
Something else that I’ve forgotten! (16%)
Sugar (16%)
And not an ‘E’ number in sight – it was soooooooooo good!
But still not as good as the home made creme caramel….but that’s another story!
Where do you get it from ?????? Which shop in where ?
Maga,
This product was sold in 2008 in Australia, I would suggest as you appear to be in te UK to try Cadburies there , all the est and I hope you are able to find the chocolate because it was quite delightful.
