How come unsweetened brewed iced tea is available in restaurants in the United States and not in Canada?

Published by at 6:50 pm under Canada

Would this not be a great heathy choice to pop? Most fastfood restaurants in the US have unsweetened brewed iced tea. In Canada, all we have is sweeten Nestea, which is pure sugar and is no better than Coke. Don't Canadians also deserve healthy choices?

It has never really started here I guess. When I went to the States fo the first time I was suprised when the "Iced Tea" was actually Tea that is cold. What a concept I know! But I drank it all the time. I do wish it was here. Some restaurants will make it for you if you ask.

I agree, I HATE sweet tea! I only drink unsweet (or water) and it's SO annoying when you can't get it…. you can always sweeten unsweet, but never take the sweet out of sweetened
