Pacific Barbeque (BBQ) Review – Melbourne Australia

Asian BBQ would suit business lunch, Student or traveller.This is a very busy Asian eatery that seats approximately 120, its table service which for us was very quick and friendly.The atmosphere is quite exiting and faced pace, but the noise level was not overpowering. We found that our table was good, the meal started with a piping hot cup of tea before you have even placed your order. The menus are set up as art of the table they are maintained underneath a glass cover on the tabletop, this is a business that is set up to provide fast quality food.
The meal:
We placed simple single meal orders, # 74 Crumbed Pork and egg on rice with a tomato based sauce ($13.00), this was an Italian Asian style meal and we noted that the tomato sauce was reminiscent of baked beans or at least the sauce. The meal was a hearty serving and suited the cold day we went in to eat. As for the # 60 Mixed roast meat I chose roast duck and roast pork ($9.50), this was obviously precooked but wow the presentation and flavours are great. The duck looked a lot like the Peking duck that was hanging in the window and the roast pork was tender belly pork with the crunchiest crackling I have had since Christmas lunch.
Drinks # 127 Iced Mango and Pearl ($4.00), a little pricy but would be better on a hot day or at least in the warmer weather. The tea was great and in a large mug, it would have been enough for me.

Service was friendly the staff appeared very rushed and did not really elaborate ofn the dishes.

Service was generally speedy. The entire meal process took a little over 30 minutes for lunch.

The food was of good standard and the quality appeared to be maintained with ease.

A very open eating area, very clean and welcoming.

Value for Money:
This is for those seeking both cheap and medium price eats, when you come to Pacific BBQ you will receive no fuss quick food and service with a suitable price to match. Overall I thought it was good value for money.

I would again recommend the Pacific BBQ for a quick lunch or dinner, it suits everyone be you a business person, tourist, student or just out with the family taking in the fun that is Melbourne.
