    I think his quick …
I think his quick presentations like the one for Beef Wellington are cool to watch but for non-cooks like me, I’m left with many questions (how much of this, how long for that, what type of this do I use, etc).

Maybe people with experience wouldn’t need everything spelled out for them but I couldn’t follow what he’s doing and have it turn out right.

    Well that’s just …
Well that’s just his way of showing how to do the recipe while keeping it a brief length…why do you feel like he’s showing off?

    he should be like …
he should be like this more often! Good calm advice, that makes you want to improve your cooking – non of that “flour” “Butter” “stir” “season” “done” stuff…or arogantly showing off.

    Ramsay is very …
Ramsay is very critical of food critics. He threw out a critic of his restaurant after the critic talked badly about him personally.
Tough, absolutely. Vulgar, yes. Yet you have to respect him for the product he makes.

In my eyes, no different than what Ari Gold does as an agent (and yes there are agents like Ari Gold out there)

    Risotto cooks …
Risotto cooks pretty quick…and on a relatively low heat, so I think the asparagus wouldn’t be totally grey mush by then. Probably better flavour, a little less texture.

when i did asp risotto i added the tips later…it was probably a lot worse than his. and he’s right, risotto’s all about the flavour. who cares if the asparagus isn’t crisp and bright green as long as it tastes right.

    btw I wasn’t …
btw I wasn’t criticizing Ramsay’s pronunciation, it was directed towards berezin99. Yeah, I’ve got a weird name, but what the does that have to do with anything. You wanna see something weird? Try reading you’re own writing.
