In a fast food nation, eating healthy food becomes difficult to do. Yet a poor diet contributes to low energy, obesity, stress, health problems and high medical bills.

If you eat better, you will feel better and this video discusses some of the foods you should avoid.

    Slpenda is one of …
Slpenda is one of the worst sugar substitute, it has loads of chemicals and aspartame, I read this in a nutrition book, just look up aspartame and you’ll see what it does to your body, there’s some in any sodas and more stuff. Worst thing if you don’t want a fat belly

I suggest agave nectar or stevia instead of sugar, a thousand times better then splenda :)

    Not just splenda …
Not just splenda but any artificial sweetener that contains chemicals like sucralose and aspartane that are linked to cancer. There is even evidence to suggest that it raises insulin levels the same way regular sugar does, just with more chemicals. Have you ever heard of Stevia?

    Just thought I’d …
Just thought I’d mention a catch…MSG is a flavor enhancer developed by the Japanese, not a very good preservative. Nice video, otherwise!

    MSG isn’t a …
MSG isn’t a preservative really, is it? It’s a flavor enhancer. Neurotoxin. It tricks the tastebuds into thinking something tastes better than it really does.

    Hehe, it does that …
Hehe, it does that because YouTube takes a snapshot of the midpoint of a video, to use as the thumbnail when displaying it on a page. Some people don’t like that, so they insert whatever photo they want, in the midpoint of the video.

I eat bacon everyday, about 8 rashers throughout the day. It’s a great source of protein and essential saturated fat

    Explain why sodium …
Explain why sodium is actually bad for you? And if you go back to the old argument that “Sodium raises blood pressure and increases your chance of heart disease” then I’m sorry to say that the evidence doesn’t support this. The theory is sound (sodium retains water, causing cells to expand and increase pressure on the veins and arteries) but the evidence says that even when this does happen the increase in blood pressure is negligible and doesn’t affect heart disease.

    I’ve got nothing …
I’ve got nothing against the fat, but shes right about the nitrites and nitrates. If you are eating that much a day then you might want to look into finding a brand that doesn’t include those carcinogens.
