Yeah, guilty!

I saw on TV ad a plug-in device that'll keep rats away. Really expensive. 1 option is to buy thru their agents, another is you make a tele-order you'll get a 14day money back guarantee.

However, when I got to their shop, I was told by the agent's rep that the 14day moneyback g'tee only for TV orders. But he's so convincing when telling me how effective this device should be.

After 1 week, the rats still there... Waited a week longer and to my surprise !! One day, I actually saw a rat sniffing up the device. But I'm stuck with it!! Cant return it for my money back...

I'm reformed now... no more TV orders for me!!
References :
I bought the Dehydrator from Ron Propeil !

It worked! And I was mildly impressed, but, after I made beef jerky, and it took 4 days to make it, and the smell, though it was pleasant for the first day, got to be an annoyance after the second and truley a pain when the 4th day came!!

Less to say, I only made it twice and put the silly thing away, and never used it again!

I wish you well..

A co-worker buys many kitchen gadgets and loves them.
She recently bought the chocolate fountain - it was a hit at a party she gave.
she has a cabinet just for the gadgets.
References :
My father-in-law, a well respected doctor, was such a sucker for infomercial gadgets! My mother-in-law never knew what the next package would contain because he would stay up late and order the stuff while she was asleep. He bought the salad shooter, glass magic wand, pole extension for dusting and painting, pasta draining pot, any miracle cleaner they advertised, veggie mandoline cutter, ginsu knives, garlic peeler and dicer, jar opener, the screw extractor, some talking fish and turkey, miracle tarnish proof felt jackets for silver, plastic container organizers, flow-be, pizza heater, mini chopper/blender/grinder, salad spinner, a pan that is split and cook 2 different things at once, the original laser stud finder and level, and those are only the ones I can think of off of the top of my head.

I can say, we used to get his cast-offs and some really did work. Still in use are the salad spinner, laser level, pole extender, screw extractor, tarnish proof jackets for silver.

He passed away, thanks for a great memory of a wonderful person. We used to make fun of him for his "infomercial addiction", now it is a fond memory.
