Best eggs ever. The main problem is, after eating good scrambled eggs, I can force myself to go back to crummy overcooked eggs anymore.

    Btw, I made this …
Btw, I made this once by accident (again, non-cooking bachelor here) not long ago using mom’s chili, cheese, and sour cream. Turned out good. Gordon would have a field day with me. :D

    I just made this …
I just made this with the following substitutions: mann’s mayo for creme fraiche, minced shallots and garlic for chives, and Italian bread for sourdough. I also toasted the bread in a skillet with olive oil. MMMM. Turned out good, and I’m no chef. I remember seeing Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares when channel flipping one afternoon and he complained about the eatery in question’s eggs and mushrooms which he said was his fave breakfast dish. Glad I looked it up to see how he does it.

    crème fraîche is …
crème fraîche is great and there is taste lost without it…you can pick it up in a gourmet place, one that would have expensive cheeses and such.

yeah i don’t know why he says all of this.. there are sooo many variations of making a scrambled egg and everyone thinks they have the best. just cook them on low heat constantly stirring. i always beat my eggs before i put them in the pan.

    You can actually …
You can actually skip that step, I’ve tried using both techniques and they arent that different. Also, when he used the creme fraiche, I used cold milk…:p

    Probably the stove, …
Probably the stove, chef homes mostly have powerful stoves…as we don’t really need that kind of power in our houses…

But it took me about 5 minutes just to do the egg, crack to cook.
