    Thanks for this vid! I’m so sick of all the crap I eat in college- from the not so healthy food in the commons to the microwaveable alternatives for the room- easy mac, potatoes, etc. This video gave me some healthy alternatives for snacks I hadn’t thought of.

    For breakfast though, since I eat in the dorm, I like to get the All Bran Bran Buds and the fat free yogurts and eat that mixed together.

    Hmn… unsalted pretzels, quaker apple cinnamon rice cake things (the small, fluffy kind), salt and vinegar chips, any snack food I’ve baked (muffins, brownies, corn pudding, etc.)

    when I’m doing well …
    when I’m doing well, I eat things like apples, almonds, grapes, celery, carrots, bell peppers, jicama. When I’m depressed or feeling bad, I eat cookies, shakes, honey, peanut butter, chocolate milk, cookies, candy, etc.

    I try to snack on healthy foods, but I find it doesn’t satisfy me at all. Like snacking on fruits feels like I didn’t snack so I go and grab those cookies anyway.

    if there is sugar and butter…I mix them in a bowl and eat it like that…bad eh?

    so it’s so much more important to not have sugar in the house!

    um, i have been taking baby carrots to work with me. at home i have a jar of mixed nuts that help me with my love of salt…I LOVE SALT. its bad, i know, but i am working on it. i also have a bowl of muskidyne (sp?) grapes i have been nibbling on. there.

    yes but is expensive…this is not about superfoods…its about eating heathy on a budget. Last time I looked at almond butter it was $7 for a regular size jar.
