    When he went to the Fenwick Arms on Kitchen Nightmares he referred to the chef’s sauces as plastic even though the chef made them himself. He made them en masse and bottled them himself, which is what Ramsay would have had to do to have a bottle of sauce lying around. He would have had to have made it previously and stored it for later use in a plastic container.

    I think his objection is about the freshness of the sauce, and the leeching of plastic into the sauce giving it a plastic taste.

    no, when he says plastic sauces he means mass produced, sauce, cause ppl are too lazy to make it them selves. a plastic bottle with a sauce that he has made, is not a plastic sauce

    I use Himalayan salt.
    It tastes so much better than iodized or sea salt.

    yes, you have to remove the scales and leave the skin, some market places can clean the fish for you.

    when using salmon with the skin, have the fish scales been removed? cuz when i buy salmon with the skin from supermarkets, the scales are always on and i juz cut all the skin off.

    actually you don’t need any other seasoning with this recipe that he’s cooking. Its perfect the way it is, I just usually leave out the crab from the potatoes. That’s a little better that way!

    when he says roast the tomatoes with just the pilot light…does he mean he doesnt turn on the oven,and just leaves them in ther over night?
