Rajma (Kidney Bean Curry) Recipe
Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup kidney beans (rajma)
1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
2 large tomatoes
1 tablespoon ginger
1 green chili
3 tablespoon oil
Generous pinch of asafetida (hing)
1 teaspoon in seeds (jeera)
2 tablespoon coriander powder (dhania)
1/2 teaspoon turmeric (haldi)
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 medium chopped tomato for garnishing

    MMMM Thank you Auntie! I can’t wait to make this. I am wondering, instead of many of the spices would it work to use some curry masala mix and some garam masala mix instead? I have both of those on hand but not much of the spices on their own…

    in india we do not use electric gas so how should we follow regarding med high or med low.another thing is we have cooker with whistles. sohow many whistles should we take for rajma and how long to be slowed?
